Discover the brain science behind childhood wiggles and learn movement strategies that improve focus, behavior, and learning—filling the critical gap between physical development and academic success.

Doors will open at 6:30PM for refreshments & snacks before the lecture. The 1.5hr lecture will begin at 7PM followed by a 30-minute Q&A session.

About the Speaker | Preston Blackburn

For over 25 years, Preston Blackburn has been inspiring educators with the brain science and logic of increased physical play during the school day for improved learning and behavior. In 2019, Preston launched Pivot to Play® to empower teachers everywhere to get kids moving during the school day and tackle the play gap head-on. Preston is the author of two books, “123...Kindergarten: Snack-Sized Tidbits to Prepare Preschoolers for Elementary School” and “If Broccoli Were A Cookie: Recipes to Expand Kids’ Palates One Teaspoon at a Time.” Above all, Preston’s proudest achievement is her two daughters. Now in their twenties and thriving in their careers, they continue to contribute their expertise in human resources, sales, film production, creative inspiration, and design, helping Pivot to Play® and Pop, Hop, & Rock™ grow and evolve.
